Katie Dahl, LPGA Teaching Professional, joined the West Bay Team in September 2020. Katie is a LPGA National Top 50 Teacher with a passion for helping others to improve their games and have more fun. Katie is originally from an Eagan, Minnesota and she is the only player to ever win four consecutive Minnesota individual state championships (2004–2007). Katie has also played in two US Girls Junior Championships. You might recognize her from her time on the Golf Channel’s Big Break Myrtle Beach reality TV show. Katie’s playing experience also includes time on the Symetra and Canadian Tours as well as a start on the LPGA Tour.

Katie attended the University of Central Florida on a full golf scholarship. As a student athlete, Katie was a Division 1 Academic All-American gaining her Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Mass Media in only four years. In 2010, Katie earned the Dinah Shore Award for outstanding performance as a student athlete and leader in the community awarded by the LPGA and the NGCA.

Katie is Trackman, TPI and US Kids Golf Certified. Her teaching philosophy is based on a student-centered approach to help each unique golfer to improve and achieve goals. Katie’s instruction has been featured on the Golf Channel and the LPGA Women’s Network. Katie has gained experience at Raptor Bay Golf Club the last eight years where she served as Director of Instruction. Other than playing golf, Katie enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their Pomeranian named Gigi. Her other hobbies include fitness, travel, watching football and volunteering at church.
