Email: [email protected]Chef Dave is originally from Southwestern Michigan and most recently Cleveland, Ohio. Raised on a working farm raising livestock, fruits, and vegetables, he learned early to appreciate the planting, harvesting and preparation of great foods. Entering the hospitality industry as a young teen, Dave pursued his dream of studying to be a chef and culinarian, attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Upon graduating, his culinary skills afforded him the opportunity to work in world class hotels and resorts, exclusive clubs, fine dining restaurants and convention facilities, including Marriott Hotels and Resorts, the Chevy Chase Club, and the Washington DC convention center. He has created and executed events for a Presidential Inauguration, Chain des Rotisseurs and Knights of the Vine dinners, becoming a Certified Executive Chef in 1998. In addition to cooking, Chef Dave enjoys construction projects, wood working, gardening, beach biking, fishing, and golf. He has a son, three daughters, and a grandson.
