Stephen Stortz joined the West Bay Team in September 2020. Steve comes to us most recently from Shadow Wood Country Club, where he has been Superintendent of the South Course for the past four years. He is credited with working closely with renowned golf course architect Rees Jones to successfully complete renovations on both the North and South Courses. After the renovations, Steve had extensive involvement in managing the grow-in process. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Golf and Sports Turf Management from the University of Florida. Steve's background also includes extensive experience at high-end prestigious clubs, including Palm Beach Country Club, Calusa Pines, Bonita Bay and TPC Sawgrass.
