Brian Schultz - General Manager

Brian Schultz, originally from Youngstown, Ohio, attended Youngstown State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Administration. While attending college, he began his hospitality career as a General Manager for a catering company. From 1980-2000, Brian was the General Manager of Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield, Ohio. In 2000 he became a General Manager of Hudson Country Club, in a suburb of Cleveland Ohio. In January 2006, Brian came to West Bay Club as General Manager.

Brian joined the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) in 1980 and is very active in the Florida Chapter. While in Cleveland, he served two terms on the Greater Cleveland Chapter Board. In November 1992, Brian received his certified Club Manager (CCM) certification through the CMAA and was inducted into the Honor Society in March of 2008. In 2010, Brian was recognized for his 30-year service in the field of Club management. Brian continued his education and in December 2013 received accreditation as Certified Club Executive (CCE) through the Club Managers Association of America.

Brian also holds a Community Association Managers license (CAM) that allows him to stay current with community, federal and state laws.

Brian is married to his wife Marcia and has a daughter, Marissa who is living in Cleveland.

Barbara Alderson - Director of Membership

Barbara Alderson, Director of Membership at West Bay Club, is originally from Indiana and attended Purdue University. She married and moved to Virginia to manage a family owned printing franchise for twelve years. In 2000, she moved to Florida and began a new career in Hospitality as Membership Assistant at The Club at Mediterra and in November, 2003 continued her career as Membership Director at West Bay Club.

Barbara joined the Club Managers Association of America in 2003 and is very active in the Florida Chapter. She is currently pursuing her club management certification (CMAA). Barbara was one of the founding board members of the Southwest Florida Membership Directors Association in 2004 and continues to be a valued member. She holds a Community Association Managers license (CAM) that allows her to stay current with local community, federal and state laws.

For 12 years Barbara has been actively involved with the CMAA Charity Classic committee and most recent served as Co-Chair for the 2015 event raising over $1,000,000 for children with special needs in Southwest Florida. Barbara enjoys spending time with family and friends in her free time.

Jeff Raimer – PGA, Director of Golf, Past SFPGA President

Jeff has been the Director of Golf at West Bay Club since 2006. He was inducted as the 35th member of the SFPGA Hall of Fame in 2015 and is a member of the PGA of Americas "Quarter Century" club. Jeff is an award winning leader in the golf industry, named 2002, 2010 & 2014 SFPGA Bill Strausbaugh winner and National Finalist in 2014; Awarded the 2009 SFPGA Golf Professional of the Year and 2010 National Finalist. He was the 1996 & 1997 SFPGA Merchandiser of the year along with numerous awards on the Chapter level. Jeff has served as an elected officer within the South Florida Section & Southwest chapter PGA for 17 consecutive years. He currently sits on two Florida Gulf Coast University Leadership Advisory Boards (R & H Board, PGM Professional Golf Management Board), along with being a Clubsoft software Advisory Board member. He is also an Ambassador for PGA Magazine. 

Jeff and his wife Jolie have three children, Devon 25, Joshua 20 and Bailee Jo 16. As a family they enjoy church, the Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers.

Jared Kalpin - Director of Tennis

Jared grew up one as one of the area’s top juniors and is a graduate of Fort Myers High School, playing #1 on the tennis team. Before joining West Bay Club, Jared was the Director of Tennis at The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club, Director of Tennis at the Club at Grandezza, Head Tennis Professional at Bonita Bay Club and Assistant Tennis Professional at Colonial Country Club.

His accomplishments with the racquet placed him second in the Men's Open finals of the USPTA International Championships, beating the No. 1 ranked and the NCAA champion in September of 2005. He also played on the winning Men's Open doubles team in the championships, finishing out the year ranked #1 in the nation in doubles and #2 in singles.

Jared is a United States Professional Tennis Association Certified Professional who grew up on tennis courts since the age of 4. His extensive knowledge base and effervescent personality make him an effective director and teacher. Jared also has a daughter named Julianne who plays tennis often and attends school in Fort Myers.

Beth Petrosky – Director of Activities

Beth Petrosky was born and raised in Kettering, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton and graduated from University of Dayton to which she is a loyal alumna. 

After a successful career in outside sales, Beth switched gears and worked for a 700+ employee mortgage company specializing in the Automation Department. Beth worked directly with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as the Beta tester for their mortgage officer laptop origination/underwriting system. 

Beth migrated south in 2001 to sunny southwest Florida where she worked in the construction industry, in purchasing and customer service for a national company and a smaller custom builder. This experience led Beth to become a Project Manager in Development at West Bay Club in 2006. Concentrating on the towers at Jasmine Bay, Beth was responsible for finishing the amenity areas including the models in the North and South towers and also the build-out of resident condominium homes. In 2009, she became our Director of Activities. 

Beth is surrounded by good friends that feel like family in the Ft. Myers area. In her spare time she likes to write and she enjoys bike rides along the Caloosahatchee River. Beth has one child, a toy poodle named Tate, whom she adores.
